The World Health Organisation’s technical lead on the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr Maria Van Kerkhove has released a new revelation about asymptomatic patients.

Dr Kerkhove said that the asymptomatic COVID-19 patient does not necessarily need to be isolated nor quarantined because they cannot even transmit the virus to another person.

Here is a video of what she said during an interview.

“From the data we have, it seems that an asymptomatic patient cannot transmit from one person to another.

However, the World Health Organisation (WHO) head, Tedros Ghebreyesus, said the worst is yet to come as over 10 million people have been infected and more than 500,000 have died from the virus in the world
