Goods Worth N5million destroyed after Manager Left to Watch Football Match in Port Harcourt (Photos)

About N5 million worth of goods sent from Cotonou in Benin Republic has been destroyed, after the boat capsized at the Bonny Jetty in Port Harcourt, Rivers state Yesterday evening, due to the Manager’s recklessness after he reportedly left the boat to watch a football match at a beer palor, and slept there.
When he got to the Jetty this morning, the goods worth over N5 million were seen afloat on the sea.
Christian Ezekiel-Hart the special assistant on New Media at Bonny local government council while confirming the incident said it is as a result of gross negligence of duty by the manager of the boat.
