Police have acted on the female musician Cynthia Bwalya, popularly known as Kay Figo, who posted pantless and revealing pictures The singer was issued a stern warning and caution by the police who summoned her after making headlines few days ago.
The Zambian artiste shared the controversial pictures while posing in a manner that left nothing to imagination with her hands just barely covering her nudity.
The musician’s cheeky pose has received widespread condemnation with Religious Affairs Minister Godfridah Sumaili labelling the act immoral.
“Police have warned and cautioned Cynthia Bwalya a musician popularly known as Kay Figo of Woodlands in Lusaka for the Offence of Prohibition of pornography which is contrary to section 102 (a) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act no. 21 2009,” said Police spokesperson Esther Katongo in a statement.
“Investigations in the matter have continued.”
